• Strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Experience working with multiple microcontroller families ( Experience with Microchip DSPIC based family is a plus)
  • Experience implementing different BLDC motor control commutation methods such as trapezoidal (or six-step), sinusoidal, and field oriented control (FOC)
  • Experience with motor control development tools, debuggers, and emulators
  • Basic hardware knowledge and debugging skills
  • Experience with various serial communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN etc
